The Cabbage Soup diet is another fad weight loss diet that is centered around eating cabbage soup. The origins of the soup are doubtful, but it is said to go back as far as World War I. During that time, besides cabbage the Yankee soldiers had few options for vegetables.

Description of the Cabbage Soup Diet
The diet consist mainly of a recipe for the soup. Besides the cabbage, the ingredients of the recipes might also include other vegetables such as tomatoes, celery, green peppers, and onions.
Early versions of the soup would cook for an hour. The shorter cooking time helps to preserve the nutrients found in the cabbage.
Also the dieters are predicted to follow precise menus for every day. Plenty of the menus consist of some fruits, beans, and potatoes. On most of the days no beef is included in the diet. ReplyDeleteIt is true that getting more weight is easy but removing it is very challenging. The Age of Technology has made our lives more convenient yet less physical. The balance in order to stay fit has been ruined. However, there are still a lot of ways in order to remove the unwanted weight away. Weight loss is not a problem to a disciplined man. With the modernization continuous everyday, there are a lot of formulated ways in order to stay fit. All that is left to do is to get physical and discipline one’s self to lose weight.
I think the diet is great. All it is is a kick start to lose the weight. It's good practice to saying no to junk food and makes you appreciate simple food like bread. The key to it being effective is that you change what you consume after you end the diet. The diet itself is actually very nutritious. You eat as much fruit or vegetables (depending on the day) as you want and meat sparingly. People don't need to eat meat on a daily basis anyways. So as long as you exercise and eat healthy after the diet it's fine. You can lose 5-10 lbs to get you motivated.

Also weight is simple to maintain when you understand your body is like a math equation. burn more than you consume and you'll lose weight. Again the cabbage soup diet is only a kick start. don't knock it until you've done it and were serious afterwords to keep it off.

It has many health benefits like, it helps to glow skin, accelerate bowel movements, prevent constipation, detoxifies the body.
